Need some advice

Ok so i am not to new here but this is my first post and not very new to computers but i would like to know what you guys think on this setup and to get some advice on maybe trimming the bill down a bit while keeping performance. I can spend up to about 2000 dollars but i don't think that is necessary to get good performance out of a rig. anyway my current set up still works but i want something more for gaming and multitasking cuz right now it is not uncommon for me to be watching a movie and playing a game while surfing the net ( mainly wow when i do this). anyway my current set up can take pretty much all games at a mid-high end of settings and be ok for me around 20fps but i just want more so on to the parts list.

Case - COOLER MASTER HAF X RC-942-KKN1 Black Steel/ Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case - i like the way it looks and it looks like it has ok wire management my current system is water cooled with 3 hdds and some other extras with no wire management and it looks like a rats nest inside there are wires all over lol. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119225

MOBO- ASUS Crosshair IV Formula AM3 AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard - i dont know anything other than what i have read about this in specs and reviews also the sata 3 is only good for ssd drives from what i hear but i want one and figure the speed would be nice.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131644

Video- XFX HD-587X-ZNFC Radeon HD 5870 1GB 256-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card - I like HD series cards im not a big fan of nvida but that is why i picked this card. I run a 5750 in my rig and a 4600 in hers right now and just like the cards.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150476

PSU - CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power ... - here i am a total noob but i know i want some extra room in this section so i can add on later with out needing to replace. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139006

CPU - AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor Model HDT90ZFBGRBOX - i currently have the 965be and wanted something that would be good for the next few years and this seems to be the way things are going so i went with it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103849

Memory -CORSAIR DOMINATOR-GT 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000) Desktop Memory Model CMG4GX3M2A2000C8 - this is what the mobo says it can take so that is what i went with i want performance http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145266

and finally on my list is the cooling - CORSAIR Cooling Hydro Series CWCH50-1 120mm High Performance CPU Cooler - my current set up is water cooled and well i don't want to mess with the loops anymore and well from what i have read this is just as good as any air cooler. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835181010

so this is the parts i have picked out i did a lot of reading on each and hope i didnt miss something important like maybe things wont play well with each other. Anyway i want to know if there is something you guys could suggest that would bring the price down and or is the same price with more performance and the H50 is 80$ what air cooler would give the same performance at a cheaper cost.

This set up as is will be at $1579 and i still need to pick up a ssd and another drive for storage. DO you have a suggestion on an ssd witch one would be good to have with enough space for a few games that i play all the time and the os.

I will be running windows 7 64 on this one and ubuntu in duel boot setup

My current setup is going to my wife and hers will be passed on to one of the kids.

If you have some advice on keeping performance high and price low i would love to hear it because i would like to spend as little as i can so i have the extra cash later on down the road to take the kids places. sorry forgot links first time around

It would have been nice if you posted links...but anyways, here's a few money saving suggestions.

The SATAIII is a nice feature, but it's basically useless at the moment b/c only one SSD saturates SATAII (Crucial RealSSD C300).

Unless you are going to use an XL-ATX mobo, then just get the HAF 932. That will save you $85 and you'll still have the looks and plenty of space.

For RAM, 1600MHz would be fine and you wouldn't notice a difference unless you are running benchmarks. But, if you really want 2000MHz, then I would go with these G.Skills to save ~$80, G.Skill Pi DDR3-2000 (6-9-6-24). Plus, the rated timings are better 6-9-6-24 vs 8-8-8-24. I have those G.SKills and I'm running at 2000MHz 6-8-6-24, so that 9 in the rated timings wasn't even a con for me
