OK so i got this idea.
I have the Corsair H50 cooling system right now and I saw somebody mod it and add a water tank and replace the tubing.

I was wondering if i Could take the H50 Cooler and something like this.
Radiator-->CPU-->Mobo Chipset-->GPU-->Radiator.

I reaaalllly don't wan't to buy a full cooling system. WOuld this be possible or would the water not go all the way through?

PS. I have two fans one the H50's Radiator.

It could be done and the water would probably get through, unless the pump wasn't strong enough... Your flowrate would be abysmal tho, and the heatload would be too great for the H50 to handle. But there's a chance the water would still actually circulate.

If you want to watercool more parts, you'll need to get legitimate components - what you are looking for is far outside the design scope of the H50 and you likely would be really unhappy with the results.

there are plenty of people who have done that:

Welcome ROG!:welcome:

You need to understand watercooling a bit more than your post suggests you know. You need to remove heat. The H50 is just a very basic, low quality pump and rad setup. You have to worry about flow rates and heatloads.

You haven't made a sig yet so I have NO idea what you have to cool. Please make a sig like most of us have. We don't need to know your monitor or HD size etc. Use mine as a good start. You can set your sig like all the other forums, in your user cp up top.

I can point you to the most important thing we have here. The ultimate WC thread. You got lots to learn and will be tossing the H50 into abox to be never ever seen again if you want real watercooling.

Open your eyes and read for a day or 10. It's not rocket science but going from an H50 to something much more capable is a new day.

BTW, forget the H50 if you want to add any GPU, just drop it like a hot potato. It's not capable. I'll say it again..............
The H50 is just a very basic, low quality pump and rad setup. And add.... It's for ONLY a CPU setup and MUCH less capable than any true WC loop.

My CPU rad is THREE times the size of the H50, so my temps are wayyyy better.

Give us a sig, no idea about your CPU or GPU your trying to cool. And hit the stickies up top big time.

BTW, a usual CPU/GPU loop starts at $450 and thats on the low end. You would replace everything.

im going to modd my H50, add a double radiator... ive heard it does well, and ive heard the pump burns out... if it works, awesome, if not, then i go full water :) win win...

Yikes! I hope that's not what things cost these days!

Last time I was into water, I had a modest CPU setup that ran me only about $150. Throw a GPU block in there and it should only kick it up to about $200 for something lowerish end.

Good pump $60, heater core (and some DIY) $25, CPU block $75 - that's $160 plus maybe $10 in hardware and $15 for fans and it's $185 for the CPU only loop.

Add a simple GPU block and sinks $70-80 (or $100+ for a full-cover block) plus another heater core, and a couple more fans so $110-150 or so onto the CPU bill for a grand total of $295-335 for a minimum system and no frills.

Add another $40 for great fans and $60 to replace the HC's with rads and Conumdrum is right on the mark - without adding in $30-40 for the chipset block or anything else, like maybe a fan controller or something ...

well that's probably pretty accurate. but $450 as a "minimum" just seemed way out of wack to me. I mean I could put together a "low end" system with CPu and GPU for maybe $250 considering hardware and fans (And shopping around). But yeah, something moderate to better performing is probably going to be more like $400ish+
