CPU temps while crunching

My AMD K6-450 has been running at 50C-55C while at full crunching load. Should I stop? Is this hurting the CPU? Is it slowing the CPU down? Should I just stop crunching 'till Friday when the REAL processor arrives at my front door?

My temps for my Tbird are in the high 50s, but I have a messed up orb that I kinda half way broke. But its still aight, still stable, Im gunna be getting a 1.3 Tbird with a volcano 7 sometime soon, should have been here today, but oh well. Yeah, keep crunching, least thats my advice.

I've had a few K6-2s, sold some, broke 2. They all were a bit on the warm side (AMD after all ) but thats not bad.

The K6 I still have has an oem TBird hsf on it now: works great! Kinda noisy, but thats why its in the cellar with the other noise makers.

EDIT: saw lonewolf's post and realized I neglected to put a temp in!!! lol Well, its been a while since that had an os I could read temps in, but i think it was around 56/58c most of the time.

I leave my window open especially in this cold weather so:

Ambient: 12-15ºC
CPU While Crunching - 25ºC

If your AMD is getting to 50 degrees then you probably have too much dust on your fan or you need to reapply thermal paste since it is all dried up. Best if you do both.
