q6600 G0 throttling

My q6600 Go is oc @ 3.6 1.33v (450x8)@ 1800fsb. i have throttling off in the bios of my 780i sli and for some reason when my cpu has no load CPU-Z and coretemp report a 6x multiplier. i ran Orthos for 12 hours followed buy a few intel burn tests and several hours of gaming. I thought it might be temps 37c/57c after Prime for 6 hrs those are great temps for a OC Q66 on air cooling so that isnt the problem. any ideas?
