I didn't know whether to put this in Intel CPU, General CPU, or Nvidia GPU--SO if a Mod thinks it belongs somewhere else, you won't hurt my feelings if you move it.

Anyway, Intel did a study to debunk Nvidia claims that it does parallel processing faster than Intel. Result: Intel lost.

+1 for good showmanship on Intel's part. After completing the comparison they could have easily just not published the results.

I wouldn't applaud it too much. nVidia was saying that they were "100x faster". They were disproving that fact.

Where's the mention of ATI / AMD?

x86 + GPU expertise = domination

The quest to Exascale computation will be met with APU's, bank on it.
