Wierd memory behavior

After installing my Venomous-X, I had a weird occurrence. Half of my 4GB memory appeared in Windows 7 as "hardware reserved". In BIOS, only 2GB showed up. Now, before installing the Venomous-X, at the same overclock, the memory ran completely stable. Just in case, I reset the CMOS, and all my memory appeared (at least in BIOS). So I tired increasing the DIMM voltage, no luck. I even tried reducing the ram below stock speed, and it STILL didn't work. Any way I can get my memory back, because 2GB is not enough ><.

Solutions
1. Increase DIMM voltage
2. Reduce to stock speed
3. Increase CPU VCore
4. Make sure "Maximum Memory" is unchecked
5. Latest BIOS

6. Load BIOS defaults (Works, but then I can't overclock)

Check out this thread but it sounds like a BIOS issue.

Tried everything there. Any other suggestions. It would really suck if I couldn't overclock after getting a VX.

This is my memory, if it helps: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231190

Assuming you have 2x2GB instead of 4x1GB of RAM, are the sticks installed in DIMM slots 1 and 3 (the 2nd and 4th slots from the CPU socket)?

Yep, they were in the right place.
Though I found out by slowly increasing the BLCK, none of the memory disappeared. It's not running at the same speed it was failing at, which confuses me. But nevertheness, the problem is solved. On to overclocking!
