Complete Setup Suggestions ($1300)

Since this is the first desktop PC I'm building I'd appreciate any help / suggestions. I'm looking to spend less that $1300 for everything (including monitor). This is going to be for software development and some occasional gaming.

At some point in the future I plan on getting a second monitor and a better storage/RAID set up. Any suggestions / what I'm forgetting would be greatly appreciated (cables? more cooling?).

I'm thinking I might go with the cheaper Cooler Master Elite 330 case and get a GIGABYTE GV-R583UD-1GD Radeon HD 5830 and a XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler. If that makes sense.

tri channel is a no no. Its either you get 4gb or 8gb.

Get 4GB of this and put the savings toward a faster video card. (Like a 5850)

If you know anybody that works for Microsoft (I dunno how easy that'll be where you live, but here in Seattle there are Microsoft employees everywhere) you can see if they'll get a copy of Windows 7 for you for $35 with their employee discount. That would save you a good chunk of change for something like a video card upgrade.

+1. The Ripjaw series is excellent. Just make sure it runs with your Biostar; speaking of which there have been solid reviews on your motherboard choice. Also, the WD Black is a smart choice.

All around a decent build especially with the hardware suggestions.
