how fun was the Jumpgate MMO

I just watched the trailer and gameplay footage for the new jumpgate evolution and I am wondering how excited I should get?

I am wonderiing if we had some old jumpgate players here and how fun/replayable they found the game.

evolution isnt out, but it looks awseome. I am curious about their 1st iteration released in 2001. Trying to work out if I should get excited about evolution or not as atm it looks like freelancer which would be awesome

Jumpgate looks interesting, I'll be keeping an eye on it... looks nothing like the original.

Another space MMO to keep an eye on is Black Prophecy... looks pretty, but it's been delayed twice. It's made by the neocron guys.

Been signed up for the Jumpgate Beta for YEARS now and still nothing :/

Black Prophecy will have to check into that one.
