this system looks interesting, never seen one like it before, i would like you guys to discuss it, pros/cons? apparently its 5 matx systems linked together in one case with a single power supply,( just incase you dont get the picture )

Since there are no links what so ever to describe its setup, I cant really make a judgement on it.

It's actually quad core intels in mini itx boards. The pic is actually kind of old. Some company did it as a promo... 20 cores off of a silverstone 1000w power supply.

so how are they linked together... or is it just 5 seperate systems off one psu?

edit - nvm... just 5 separate systems. 1 psu and 1 case... kinda pointless IMO.

^ Unless you need a lot of CPU power in a small space. Then it's quite efficient. Rendering work, video encoding, other SMP related tasks.

Probably the same as any other quad core considering we now now its just a bunch of single quad cores on a bunch of mitx boards.

well ive always wondered, how do they link all the server racks together? because if they arent linked there just a load of useless single computers
