460 GTX HDMI help please :(

So i just installed my 460 gtx and hooked my tv up to the hdmi port but it is not being detected. On my old video card i just had it go from dvi to hdmi and that worked fine but i want to use my new hdmi port. Is mine busted? Am I doing it wrong? thanks for the help

I tried to force tv detection on boot but nothing happened.

I figured it out. Driver conflict with audio drivers. Uninstal audio drivers. then uninstall video drivers. then re install video drivers then reinstall audio drivers is what I did.

Oh wow - that's really annoying when things like that happen.

For future reference, what were the audio drivers?

Had a similar problem with a HD5770... for some reason video cards just don't agree with TV's.

yay now my computer blue screen of death and forced shutdown on me for the first time ever. This card/drivers are so full of win
