Is anyone familiar with the workings of Verified by Visa? I have been getting them after placing Newegg orders, but recently I decide to press 'cancel' instead of entering my password. However, the order still goes through with newegg (two packages delivered already). Is this a bug or is 'Verified by Visa' a gimmick?

Yes I was indeed charged.

If the glitch was that I wasn't charged, well I don't know if I would bring it up. :p

gimick

eula seems to shift blame if theres fraud
onto the purchaser
rather than the store or visa themselfs
(requires a long password that u may not store or write down anywhere)
if password is compromised assumed user worte it down and lost it or such

the thing is buggy(funky code?)
looks like a phishing scam popup
and the egg usually approves purchase,
(every time for me)
regardless if u sign up for the program or
just wait a sec and then close browser or hit back button

lots about it around net
thru googling
makes for a fun nights read

i never signed up
and if pressed
will just use discover

i dont like it
nor trust it
the same way
i dont respond to emails from my (bank?)
