CM V10 on P6X58D Premium?

Will the Coolermaster V10 air cooler fit on the P6X58D Premium Motherboard? Also, I hear this cooler employs the peltier effect, is this true? My friend just upgraded to it and he says it will compete with the D14 and H50/70 in all circumstances. Will the cooler put much stress on the motherboard? I have a build I just did using the Xigmatek Dark Knight that I am typing this on now with the P6X58D Premium and it has no stress whatsoever.

Don't know if it will fit.
The D14, H50(w/good fans), H70, and Megahalems all beat the V10. The Dark Knight you have now isn't that much less powerful.
The coolermaster V8 and V10 are for show, rather then performance cooling.

Ahhh, so I suppose I was tricked by my friends own buyer's remorse!
