Question 530W Enermax+system+122W pelt?

Would it be likely the 530W Enermax PSU could run my entire system(see sig) as well as a 122W peltier? Anyone try this? I want to try getting out of having to use dual PSUs or a 12V PSU, cause duals would take up too much space, and the 12Vs are too expensive, alone.

from what ive been told, u could run a 70~80w pelt ok on a 530w psu, but the higher wattage pelts draw more voltage and amps. so id assume that 112w pelt would draw about 15v and about 12amps, which is more then ur psu could give, it will run, but it could overload your psu, and cuz instability and heat issues. just what ive been told, and think IMO..

look on ebay, you'll probly find a good 20amp desk psu for under 100 bucks, cheaper then the 530watt psu.

You don't want to use a computer psu for that pelt. It will not handel the load + your comp to and it does not have an adjustable voltage either. You have to make small voltage adjustment to find the sweet spot to run your pelt at.

Here are some links to psu's that will fit the bill. The first one is cheap and has a lot of power I have 1 myself 12v 21amps.
