Nice to finally see prices dropping on DDR3. I bought some reaper with a MB (x58a-ud5) combo. My first plunge into intel (i7-930)... should be fun.
 
Those are some nice deals but of course it's all high latency stuff...pretty much the same as lower latency/lower speed rated memory. I've been reading articles on DDR3 latency/speed articles and for the most part the differences are huge in synthetics and small in nearly every real-world test. There are certain 'sweet spot' combos of latency/speed too so just cranking up the speed with high latency often doesn't yield any useful results (WinRAR being the glaring expcetion that eats latency and bandwidth like a fat man at a Chinese buffet.)
