I am pushing my Q6600 higher now that I have some faster Patriot RAM (PC2-6400)...Just want to prolong this platform as long as possible since I can still play every game out at highest settings.

I am trying 406x9 = 3.65GHz....1.47v

RAM 5-5-5-15 2.1v 1:1

Cooling is no problem...H50 keeping her idling @ 36c, load @ ~65c
I can run 3dmark vantage fine...but 5 seconds into prime95 it just BSOD's...

Could it be the MB/northbridge topping out maybe?

Any ideas?

with that kind of chipset cooling that comes stock with the board, i really doubt it is having heat problems.
you should see what they expected to cool that on some lesser boards :)

course your now on water no chipset blow-by, so put a house fan on the thing for a few minutes and see if anything clears up

1.47v 3650 geesh its done you did great, you deserve a 8500 :) they sell them used on e-bay, and a 6600 still has resale value.
buy low and sell high and you could trade up for less than ya spent on the cooler, then start all over again :)
the 8500 people are rushing off to the I? stuff, might get a deal.

Turn on "round off checking" in Prime95 and run Prime95 again. (To see if you get a rounding error)

406 MHz FSB is nothing for a P35-DS3L to sneeze at, it'll do that easily at stock chipset voltages.
