My P7P55D-E drops my Vcore from 1.34 (idle) to 1.28 (onload) so using LLC is a no brainer.
Anyone with this or a similar board is experiencing this also please?

thanks

I don't think enabling LLC because of inherent Vdroop is a "no brainer". If you want to adhere to Intel's processor power delivery design spec., then leave LLC disabled (Vdroop enabled). If you haven't already, you might want to check out this article over at AnandTech written by Kris / Freecableguy, then decide for yourself which is best...

... and Raja's followup to that article:

thanks redduc.
I was using fixed voltage instead of offset and that sort of disabled speed step, but anyway.
That was a great read. I fear enabling LLC now LOL
I'd rather have my I5 slightly over 1.4V when mildly loaded and 1.35-1.36 @ full load than risk chip damage from those voltage overshoots

BTW, that Voffset is the same as Vdrop right?
