if you have a tap plastics, you could whip a few out pretty quick.
get some clear (or colored) acrylic (out of the scrap bin) and some acrylic glue/solvent , and a needle bulb for pouring/controlling of the solvent.
because the solvent melds/melts the acrylic, you can test a design quick.

many of the faceplates on cases are just enough different, that making one yourself could save the greif of various ones not fitting the same anyways.
