Zalman 9900 issue 1399

Zalman 9900 issue 1366

I just bought a zalman 9900 and it didn't come with a backplate for the 1366set up. Do I need it? All the reviews I read say to use a behind the mobo bracket for support. What should I do?

I assume you mean 1366, newegg says it comes with one, so they exist. Try contacting zalman, often companies'll ship them free if it wasn't included and was supposed to be.
