Best Bang For Buck: 140/145 Sempron - Can't beat the price for the speed and OCability - Even better if it unlocks.

Best Gaming CPU: X3 720/740BE Heka - These chips run cooler than most multi-core chips while gaming / under a heavy load and the price is right, esp for an unlocked chip.

Only con is availability since the 720 is apparently gone from most if not all vendors. One additional thought is nowadays you'd need to get a cooler for either since they are being sold as OEM chips (No cooler included).
Most of us don't bother with the stock unit if it was there anyway, so it's not a real con.

Best Business CPU: X2 Regor - Cheap, runs cool and has enough power to do about anything in an office plus the extra core would help in some office situations such as running an end of the day report. Would have went for the 140 Sempy in this one but there's no guarantee of a second working core so this is it.

Best CPU for that family member or friend that needs a computer but isn't smart enough to use it: Anything spare you have lying around....
