Intel DP55WG motherboard


Can anyone give me a tutorial on how to overclock my processor on my Intel DP55WG motherboard? My computer knowledge is high and I could do it easily on my older Asus board. I have an I7

Good link! But still having problems knowing where to start with this board. And some say overclocking with an Intel board is impossible.

What kind of problems are you having? The BIOS offers adjustments for BCLK, multiplier, DRAM multiplier, Uncore multiplier, Vcore, DRAM voltage, DRAM timings, and a number of other overclocking related options. So I'm not quite sure why you're hearing that overclocking an Intel board is impossible. In this review of the board over at Xbit Labs they hit 3.9GHz (177MHz x 22; DRAM clock at 885.9MHz) w/ an i7-860, and also reached a max. BCLK of 205...
