Got one, great drive. Now trying to upgrade to Sandforce sometime this winter

still waiting to where these ssds hit an acceptable price level

Yeah and that's street prices too not MSRP. I expect when the flash process shrink settles in we'll see street prices around $1.50/GB on good drives and maybe some lower deals, I just hope people don't expect to see an instant halving of current street prices because I think they'll be disappointed. I can however unreservedly say that a good SSD is the most worthwhile upgrade I've done in the last 2-3 years, some graphics cards were great for when I went in to obsessive gaming mode, quad cores were great when batch encoding tons of media, but the SSD just affects everything in a positive manner. I only wish that 500GB++ SSDs were cheap enough for me to ditch a mechanical drive in my desktop altogether
