i have an asus striker ii formula motherboard with a q6600 running stock with an aftermarket fan.

Im having difficulty overclocking it - I am unable to overclock it whatsoever - i can get it to post with just about anything, even 4ghz at one point. but no matter what its unstable during booting windows.

Below is what iv done:

FSB - 1333
Multiplyer - x9
voltage - 1.35
disabled intel speedstep

it posts at 3GHz but crashes going into windows - this in theory is a pretty simple overclock for a q6600 but it just will not stay stable

can anyone advise?
