For that price, there are plenty of options available. You're in the UK? Not sure if that eliminates the egg for you, but if not here is a list of LCD monitors with HDMI.

Alternatively, depending on your source, you could use a DVI/HDMI adapter and then pick any LCD with a DVI connector.

That is quite expensive for what I believe to be a TN panel...
I would look at the Dell U2410 as it is an IPS panel for a bit more, but will look much better in terms of colour reproduction.

Or this 27.5" monitor (TN panel) for cheaper, same resolution and HDMI

Ah, gotcha. Sorry -- I've been out of the display "market" lately. The only thing I know for sure is that on gaming, you want a low response time for LCDs. Like, ~2ms or less, to prevent ghosting.

That's about it! Others will probably have more info.

If it doesn't have hdmi, don't bother. Adapters are for when it's your only option. Using an adapter will prevent true hdmi communication (hdmi<>hdmi) between the video card, which must be pcix, and the player depending upon the media used. If it's just a file on your pc it won't matter but an adapter is still absurd unless it's all you got.
