Ok, so I added in Dreamscene to my 64-bit Home premium
Now when I right-click on background I get various options, (solid, Windows Wallpaper, etc) and at the bottom of the list I get two options that read.

c:\Users\Gateway\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft...(can't finish making it out)

I think it's supposed to point to c:\windows\web\DreamScene, but I can't figure out where it is.

Any ideas?

C:\Users\#username#\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows DreamScene
i couldnt figure out what gateway was ?? so it had to be the users name.

that does sound like a locations for some of the programs data files to be slopped about :)
and the location is probably in either a Config file or in the registry if you wish to change it.
do a search for files with text containing the names, to find in a config file
do a search of the registry, of the name to find in the registry.

i dont use the program, but with this search
http://www.google.com/search?num=10...ay\AppData&gs_rfai=&pbx=1&fp=4b3eeabb4c23868d
the top hackings for W7 instalation came up using your clues provided.

anyways they suggest that the video file being used at the time IS stored in that location???

Side notes: for anyone wondering.
the kit for the registry fixes and install stuff, which i assume you already HAVE anyways
are found with a search like this
http://www.google.com/search?num=10...mscene.exe&gs_rfai=&pbx=1&fp=4b3eeabb4c23868d

then hopping through the minefeild trying to find one that isnt a trojan :)

.
