Can i ruin my HP 950c printer by...


Hi

Can i ruin my HP950c by reload it with not a brand HP ink ? I can get some reload kit (hipodermic needle) for about 10 times lower price...

No, you won't ruin it.

However, there are some things to think about. I used the refil kits before, and they work pretty good mostly. My Cannon printer would leak the thinner ink out into a well under the print head, so I had to refill it every 2-3 weeks if I used it or not.
Make sure it says that it's compatible with an HP, you don't want it to damage the print head. If it does, a new print head comes with a new cartridge usually.

It is usually cheaper to refill them, and you won't damage anything that isn't replaceable by just buying a new cartridge.

That refill kit i was talking about is said to be use for HP950c, but i'm not sure i should believe for that company. However, if I ask them, that i can use it for my printer, they will definetly say i can. They want to sell those refill kits
Anyway, thanks for the help. I've already used their refill kits to my old Xerox C6 printer, but this HP is new, and much more expensive to risk its death, so i wanted to make sure...
