just wondering if this cooler is any good?, dont know if theres anything better for the price, looks cool enough anyway...

imo it's an overhyped piece of shoot. For the money there are better options.

No...it's not that great, especially when it costs that much. There are better ones that are cheaper. Go for a Xigmatek Dark Knight or a Cooler Master Hyper 212. They are both excellent choices.

This site may come in handy. Use it to compair the Cooler Master V8 with the two I listed. Go to the bottom of the last page for each heatsink, it has all the info that you need.

I don't like frostytech reviews, they use synthetic testing that doesn't accurately represent real world situations.

Weeeeeeeell, to an extent. At least they do a decent job at trying. I used their stats to choose the Dark Knight over the Hyper 212 (they both have awesome performance).
