I love my 2209WA and I wouldn't be able to go back to a TN panel monitor.

Maybe give this 23" 1920x1080 NEC eIPS monitor a look: http://www.amazon.com/NEC-EA231WMi-B.../dp/B002LARVYK

I reviewed that just recently.

You can go IPS to PVA but not TN. You'll just go "EEEEEWWWW"

If you like your 2209 a lot odds are you'll be happy with a "U" range IPS from dell as well. Just make sure you're not making a big leap up in response time if you're a gamer. You may also want to consider the very cheap but very nice 32U22 from Panasonic.

$479, better perceptible response time than a monitor. Better contrast. 32". Also a TV. :P.
