Running 1600mhz 4gb + 2000Mhz 4gb

You'll have to run both sets at the same speed and timings, so at worst 1600MHz 9-9-9-24. You'll probably be able to run them at 1600MHz 8-8-8-24, but that's not guaranteed. Since you have to run both sets at the same speed and timings, you won't benefit from the extra RAM unless you actually need more than 4GB.

As a forum thread search would show, this question is frequently asked. The answer is that mixing of RAM is never recommended not guaranteed to work, especially mixing of different RAM. You would be best to purchase one 8 GB. matched, tested, confirmed Phenom II compatible RAM kit for your AMD 955 BE if you need/desire 8 GB.

Faster RAM capability offers no advantage unless you overclock your RAM to run at the higher speed. Your BIOS will not do this automatically. You would need to manually set the BIOS options for your RAM. It's unlikely that your 955 BE will run any RAM @ 2000 MHz. as the OE socket AM3 supported frequency is 1333 MHz.

links to my 6GB kits but 4GB are on the same chips.

All 2GB adata gaming sticks are on PSC chips and spd@1600 are almost the same so 1600 will work with 2000 kit but I wouldn't count on high oc. For sure you will run all @ 1600 8-8-8 and maybe up to 1800 9-9-9 but not higher and all depends from secondary timings and voltages.
There is no point to waste money on 2000+ kits unless you are benching. For gaming and most other things you won't see difference in performance.
