asus eeepc 1005ha-pu17-bk

i have an asus eee pc, pn 1005ha-pu17-bk. got it used, but restored back to factory defaults so its basically new. the only problem i have with it is the fn-f1 to f12 keys. fn f1, f5-7 work, the rest dont. i cant change volume up/down/mute, or turn of the wirless, or do what f3-4, and f8-9 do. any advice.

i have 1gb ram, 250gb hdd, win 7 starter.
