So i bought a kit of OCZ Gold 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR31333 (PC3 10666). It is bad, so what should I replace it with?
Here is my rig. The issue that I have is space below the heat sink, installed the coolermaster Hyper 212, and it hangs over the first memory bay.

Case: Thermaltake Dokker VM600M1W2Z
Motherboard: Gigabyte 880GM-UD2H
Processor:AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
Memory:OCZ Gold Series XTC Cooler 4GB DDR3-1333(2GB Sticks)
VideoCard: XFX HD 5750 1GB GDDR5
Power Supply:OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W
Hard Drives:Hitachi Deskstar 1TB x2
OS: Windows 7 64-bit

What's your budget? If you're looking for good ram and have $120 - $150, here are some suggestions...

Look into these Super Talent (DDR3-2133):

https://www.superbiiz.com/detail.ph...e=Super-Talent-DDR3-2133-2GB-128x8-CL8-Memory

or these (also Super Talent), which are DDR3-2000 and a little cheaper:

The second listing is actually one of many Superbiz / Ewiz fronts used to sell on ebay. They are the same outfit.

Both of these are made with Elpida MGH-E Hyper ICs and are capable of high clocks or tight timings. The following link is to a thread where these are discussed. There is also a similar thread over at XS.

Alternatively, look for ram made with PSC ICs.

Look here for examples (common timings of DDR3-1600 at 6-8-6-24 with 1.65v):

Here are some specific models, just as an example, as there are others.

Any DDR3 1333 MHz. or higher freq. RAM, tested and confirmed Phenom II compatible should work fine as long as it clears the CPU cooler.

Newegg has several choices worth considering for under $90. Here are a few 2 x 2GB kits:

G.SKILL ECO Series F3-12800CL7D-4GBECO DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) 7-8-7-24-2N (under $78 shipped)

F3-10666CL7D-4GBECO G.SKILL ECO Series DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) 7-7-7-21-2N (under $73 shipped)

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) 7-8-7-24-2N ($70, less $10 off code thru Jan 3rd and free shipping)

There are others, these are just some of the ones with tighter timings. G.Skills seems to be doing a good job with the DDR3 with respect to performance and pricing, so that is why I linked to their stuff.

Maybe you could go for the Corsair XMS3 Vengeance DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL9 4GB. It says on the Corsair site that it's designed for AM3, and Corsair normally makes good stuff. It should fit into your budget quite nicely.

One more for you...just right under that $90 threshold...and tighter timings than the others. These should be carrying the PSC ICs that I referred to in the second half of my first post.

G.SKILL PI F3-12800CL6D-4GBPI DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) 6-8-6-24

...and never mind that stuff about being "Compatible M/B Chipset: Intel P55". These will work just fine on an AMD rig.
