Well like the title says this is going to be my first computer build and i need help finalizing the parts for it on a $1,300 budget. I plan to do a lot of gaming on a 1920x1080 resolution monitor and some overclocking on the CPU.(I intend to build it this month)

This are the parts i came up with.

Cpu- Intel Core i7 950-$300

Motherboard- Sabetooth x58-$200

PSU-Cougar CMX 700-$120

GPU-Gigabyte Radeon HD 6850-$190

Ram-Crosair XMS 6gb(3x2gb)-$80

HDD- Samsung 320gb-$43

DvD Burner-Samsung-$17

CPU fan and heatsink- Zalman CNPS9900MAX-R -$80

Case-Xeon-$70

OS-Windows 7 premium 64 bit- $100

mouse and keyboard- $45- i don't think they are important enough to name

Actually, the Cougar PSU's are pretty high quality, but the Corsair 750TX is cheaper. If you want modular, go with the Cougar, if you can settle for hardwire, get the 750TX.
