So I was defragging my HTPC's HDD when there was a 2 second blackout. When it restarted I got one long beep, 3 short beeps, and no screen output. Just the beeps and dead.

It was totally fine when I was using it 30 minutes ago.

Ideas?

It's a memory error actually... :(

Fixed with CMOS reset. Freakin SCUM bag power company. I had SIX two minute blackouts in one day at my last place. I'm in a brand new building now. Still crapp.
This city is garbage the power company is garbage.

K... nope. It's bricked. Windows locked up as it would with a memory fault and now I won't post. Still one long three short.

Toronto Hydro, **** YOU. You incompetent pieces of ****

It's on the list. I managed to get the system to POST by removing the CMOS battery for a while and moving the RAM to A2 B2 instead of A1 B1...

Friggin garbage hydro company man...
