I would get the 6850 if you have the money for it. It is much more powerful. And, that price for the 5770 seems a little high. I just bought an HIS HD 5770 from newegg and it came out to $109 shipped after rebates. I know it's not an XFX, but I'd say its pretty much the same thing except without a lifetime warranty. If you have the money, I would absolutely go with the 6850. It has much more potential. The only reason I got a 5770 is because I'm a broke college student.

ok thanks but no thanks lol jkjk i just did some research and i plan on getting a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 465 (Fermi) 1GB on bench marks it shows that this card blows the 5770 out the water i dont know about the 6000 series but it also beats the ATI Radeon HD 5830 but barlet looses to the HD 5850.
so i think im going to get the NVIDIA card lol and to top it off lol its only $144 on newegg its this card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814162052 and it can be Tri-SLI'ed. of course that would come later. lol but a 5770 is normal around $129 - $160 and the 5830's are anywhere from $160 to $220 and the GTX 465 still beats the 5830's so i think its acceptible for the price. I just never like nvidia or could understand the diffrences between them and ATI Cards, cause nvidia's processing clocks are lower and they use processing units instend of ati's processors cores. so i could never understand what the diffrence is but facts dont lie so i think in this case the best bet is to go with the benchmark tests witch is in favor of the

What you think? lol

Yeah, that looks like a good card. I would absolutely go with that one over the 5770. Good choice
