Hdmi to dvi cable will work for pc?


Can I use a Hdmi to dvi cable to hook up my LED monitor to my pc?

If your going HDMI from the pc, to DVI on the monitor, then yes it should work. I don't believe it'll work the other way around, though.

Double check monoprice.com, if the cable is cheaper

vga, dvi, hdmi, same on mobo vga, dvi hdmi.

hmdi and dvi are both digital right? hdmi just has audio correct?

So if I use a hdmi to dvi it will be the same picture quality as dvi to dvi or hdmi to hdmi?

Yes, but why complicate things? Just use either DVI to DVI or HDMI to HDMI.

sounds good thanks, Ill get the hdmi to hdmi. I Found one on ebay brand new free shipping for $3.86, seems very reasonable.
