Exclamation Monitor for gaming

I'm getting a new computer with a i5 2500k, gtx 460. I need to get a monitor and have bought one i a while. What are some of the key points i should look at. I mainly will use it for gaming. Here are a few i found on my own, but don't know how they will fit my needs.

There are four types of LCD panels: TN Film, MVA, PVA and IPS, and each have pro's and cons... The most common is the TN panel and is most likely the two you listed.. I found a great article for you to read. It has alot of information to learn from and understand each technology. Hope that helps..

However, personally I would stay away from any refurbished, usually only carry a 90 day warranty... Also with a GTX460, 1600x900 is kinda low.. the 460 will eat that for breakfast... Go at least 1080p. 1920 x 1080, if you can afford it.
