Getting ready to give it a go, but:
I'm assuming when you mount the fans on the radiator, you're drawing the air into the case, since you get better cooling with the ambient air than the air in the case. However, doing so will probably raise the case temps significantly, so maybe exhausting out through the radiator is the way to go.
I think this is so basic, it's not mentioned in the articles.
