Thanks for the better clarification too bad they don't sell Yate Loons...

Good find, I currently have 3 low speed yates on my rad. What are some fans that move a similar amount of air but are quieter?

Scythe S-Flex are better alternatives if you are wanting something better than the Yate Loons while remaining good quality.

How does that static pressure compare on them? I'd be using them on a rad.

Can someone help me pick out some fans please? I have the system in my sig. Currently I am wanting to at least replace the fan on the cpu cooler ( Cooler Master 212+ ) and add a second fan to push, at the very least. Might also add 1-3 case fans, depending on the price.

Anyone make any suggestions on fans to put on the heatsink? Can I find a fan that is better at cooling and is the same noise or quieter?

Does anyone suggest adding any more case fans to this? Just not happy with idling at ~50c at 3.8ghz.

Make a thread in the cooling section, this is the Cyber Deals section. But I'd recommend the Scythe slipstream fans if you want quiet but good airflow, or the Gentle Typhoon's if you can spend $18 a fan.

On SPCR's suggestion, I grabbed some Nexus fans from newegg not long ago and I'm floored by how quiet they are. If anyone is looking to replace some loud case fans, don't hesitate to grab these, even if the sale is over

Thanks for the suggestion! There was an option to buy 2 of the slipstream for $9 each when you buy 2-3, and the coupon worked as well. Going to try and throw two of these on there and see how they keep my CPU cool! Two for $15 shipped, can't beat that!

Yeah, they are pretty good. Grabbed a couple a few months back and can barely hear them.
