HDD advice needed

Hello everyone! I'm on the hunt for a new hard drive. I'm clueless when it comes to HDDs and have no experience shopping for them. I need a 1.5 TB drive at 7200 RPM.

I originally planned on purchasing the SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 1TB 7200 drive but I've recently decided to go with a 1.5 TB instead. My budget is $100 although I'd love to spend even less than that.

It'll be my only hard drive for the build so it'll be storing everything I have, including the O/S.

It's over my budget but I'll certainly consider it. Do you happen to know of any under $100 options? Or will I be sacrificing too much performance?

WD green 2TB is under $100.
