well I downloaded the new msmsgs patch today. Before that everything was fine but now......
1. I can only use IE 5x to go on the internet
2. my IE 6x won't connect at all, it doesn't even try to sign on.
3. I can't download anything. (realdownload is my default dl utility)
4. I can play tribes2 online just fine.
5. I can't do a manual IP game of rogue spear, i get a "could not connect to game server" message.
I can not seem to figure out why half my stuff is working and the other half isnt. I uninstalled msmsgs but since my downloader isnt working i can't install a new version. I'm not sure how to set my default downloading problem. I ran a virus scan, supposedly the drives are "clean" but if this messenger virus is brand new my scan may not detect it. Anyways, i don't even know how to fix this, if you guys have any suggestions advice i'd love to hear it....thx.
