as i remember it, there was a critical update that you had to do to run msn 2010, about a month ago...
i just installed messenger 2010 and now it says i have to download the 2011 one in order to use it...
i don't like it! is there any way i can make 2010 one stop saying to update it and just log in? anyone knows any hacks or anything? that would be greatly helpful :D (sorry if this post is against any website rules)

Hi.

Close MSN and end msnmsgr process in task manager. After that, follow the below steps.

My PC>C:>Program files>Windows Live>Messenger>msnmsgr.exe>right click>properties>compatibility tab>"Run this program in compatibility mode for">Windows XP SP2>Apply and OK.

If that doesn't work try with Windows 2000

Let me know if that works.
