I just sold my AV-40's and am thinking of buying a pair of Alesis M1Active 520 USB Near-Field Monitors. Anyone tried these?

I actually ordered a pair of M-audio BX5A Deluxe which were on sale, that's why I sold my AV-40's but the company went bankrupt and returned my money. So now I'm shopping around and am looking at the Alesis monitors.

So I went for a pair of AudioEngine A5's instead, found some for $317 in Canada. Seem to have good reviews.

Looked at the

Alesis M1Active 520
M-Audio BX5A's
AudioEngine A5

Hope the AudioEngine A5's will fit the bill. Although they all had good reviews.
We'll see!

Never tried any of the others, but A5s are amazing. You'll sit there for half an hour after you start using them wondering how the heck that kind of sound got in those small speakers.
