alright now is v drop bad for a cpu? im at 1.175v set in the bios but in cpu z it goes between 1.12 and 1.14v usually 1.14 idle and 1.12v load. is that bad? its 12hrs prime 95 stable. i tried 1.15v in bios and it failed in 30min cuz i bsod

so what should i do for the voltage? turning LLC on makes it 1.136v constant, and its 12hrs prime 95 stable at 1.136v and 1.12v lol

Are these temps okay aswell.

E8400 @ 3.6ghz (600mhz oc) at under clocked volts of 1.125 to 1.14, ON STOCK intel heatsink and fan

Idle 28-32c
Load 40-50c
Prime95 Small ffts 55c

4890 gfx card
40c idle
60c load

You're gonna get some vdroop, thats ok, LLC helped with that. Congratz on that 600mhz OC, those chips can go past 4GHZ. Ya gotta ditch the stock cooler to get there tho. ;) Temps look fine for a stock cooler. Read the forum guide to learn more about overclocking that chip. And keep coming back with questions, we'll be here to help. :)

I just got rid of my E8400. It is certainly a beast of a chip. I wouldn't worry too much about the vdroop as long as it runs stable. 3.6 on stock cooler is pretty impressive. I would think that the load temps would be significantly higher. The guide posted by nightelph is all I ever used or needed when I OC'd mine. I got to 3.8 running at about 41C max on Prime95 for 12 hours. It averaged about 38-39C, and that was with aftermarket cooling. Good luck!!!
