Newegg has a similar (if not the same) 3TB drive with an extra $20 off this weekend: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822145493

And there's free shipping.

And Newegg shows stock whereas Microcenter lists in store pickup only and has no stock at my local stores.

It seems there are a couple places to get a Hitachi Deskstar for a decent price.

Looks like the same drive. toss up, waiting for shipping or travel to the nearest Microcenter. Mine has 18 Just bout a 2Tb or i would be in for this one.

Just had a hitachi 1tb go out on me a week ago, so that means 75% of the hitachi drives I've bought have died.

Then again the only other 3tb drives available are WD greens and seagate... I'll stick with 2tb until there are some WD blacks/blues/ sammies in there.
