i have been messing with a few different options for fixed width fonts used in gnome-terminal but i don't seem to find one that is just the right size for me.

here are some that i like best but they're not perfect...

monospace (default) - monospace is just a little too large on my laptop running 1280x800.

droid sans mono - a little bit better but feels a bit squashed vertically, like it takes up too much space horizontally.

terminus - i really like terminus and the shape of the font but it is a little bit small for my liking.

i've looked all over online for suggestions but i was wondering what you all were running as your fixed width font.
