I would really appreciate any help or a point in the right direction.
In short:
I just purchased a second XFX Ati Radeon 4890 GPU planning to run it in Crossfire. After much trouble getting it to run, I figured I had faulty crossfire bridges because it showed up on CCC (first card was listed as primary adapter and second as disabled adapter. there just was no crossfire option), GPU-Z, device manager etc. Then I finally realized you can't run crossfire on an Nvidia SLI board.
Can someone please recommend a motherboard for me or a better solution.
My system specs:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz Socket 775
Motherboard: XFX Nvidia 680i LT SLI
Memory: 4 Sticks of 800Mhz Ram
GPU: 2 XFX Ati Radeon 4890
Hard Drive: Western Digital SATA 7200 RPM I TB Internal
PSU: Zephyr MX 750W
Monitor: Sceptre 24 in. 1920X1200
Internet: D-Link DWA-552 XtremeN Desktop Adapter
Drive: Sony DVD RW Drive
Sound: Logitech G51
Thanks a million
