Would an i5 750 at 3.6 be faster than a 2500?

I realize this answer is probably very obvious, but Im not an intel guy, so maybe there is something I dont understand. Im thinking it will be slightly faster at that speed than the stock 2500, correct?

I don’t think so. The 2nd generation Intel® Core™ processors are running around 15 to 20% faster than the 1st generation Intel Core processors. So the Intel Core I5 760 running at 3.6GHz would still be out performed by the Intel Core I5 2500 running at stock.

Wow....didn't realized it would be that much of a difference.
Lucky me.
My lucky chip i5-750 runs at 185 blck with Turbo Boost 24/7 would atleast equally match with i5-2500 stock.
