My Kt7a WONT WORK!!!

Hi, My new Kt7a Mobo wont work. I set everything up, then i push the power button, and the screen is black. Any help? I already tried disabling my Geforce 2 Ti, and set it on VGA, but that dont work. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME. Could it be the poewer supply? It says Max-300. Is that enough? AHHHH SOMEONE HELP ME QUICK! THanks.

By dead do you mean nothing at all is working? Are the fans connected to the board spinning up? Have you read over the procedure in the manual to reset the CMOS jumper? Have you checked the jumpers on the HDD and CD ROM to be sure the Master/Slave pins are set correctly?

...the list is endless. Keep at it. Look over the board for any visual damage. Good Luck.

does it POST?

dou get any error beeps?

try reseating cpu,ram,vid card,power connectors etc.

make sure CMOS isnt in the clear position

Does the power come on then go right off?
