Hello, I was hoping someone could lend a hand with some specifics i'm working with a budget of $1000.

Would Like:
AMD x6 3.5 BE (would be willing to go with a x4)
Preferably a ASUS or MSI board
4GB DDR3 (Any brand just need to make sure it will work with the board)

I need help with the rest of the goods.

Thanks

What will you be using the build for? gaming, video editing, movies/everyday tasks like homework? all of the above?

Any reason you would specifically want MSI? Gigabyte will OC better, and has a better warranty/customer service. Just a thought. Also, if you're not set on AMD, for the price of an 1100T you can get a 2500k which will end up giving you better performance even without the extra two cores. Although the catch is the board will be more. Do you plan on OC?

Dr Deuce, I've read reviews on teh A70, but since you have personal experience with it, what is your opinion on it? Performance and also overall (i.e. build quality, stock fans vs aftermarket, etc)?

I should have made this clearer.

I should have made this clearer i only need a list of parts that will work together i have windows and peripherals just want to make a good solid build.

AMD and Sandy Bridge CPU's don't run hot enough for a NH-D14 or a Silver Arrow. You'd be fine with an A70, the super high end stuff is really only needed for the beast of the X58 platform.

Thats what i have, right now im running 4.0Ghz at 1.26vcore idle temps are 32C-35C, max while gaming 61C and max after few hours of prime about 80C, room temp is about 70F so the temps are pretty good
