My main purpose for buying this computer is to play old PC games but I would also like to play Portal 2, Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3 and potentially other games that will come out with the years.

I was wondering if 4 GB RAM is enough and if the motherboard is compatible with everything else and if it will be able to adapt itself to future technologies?

I thank you for your advices on the quality of the build for its price and what I want to do with it.

Is the computer case important? Could I go with a cheaper one without problems?

I'm not an expert compared to most here, but I like that build. Nobody can say for sure how it will run future games, but its pretty solid. Im not so sure I like that power supply. Cant go wrong with an Antec or an XFX for about the same money. 4 gigs of ram is plenty for gaming. No worries there. The motherboard is compatible.

As far as a case, Im the type that will spend the cash on a case because it's what I look at everyday. I like it to look good. HOWEVER, no, you certainly dont need to spend that kind of money on one so long as what you get has decent airflow to keep the inside cool.

Is that in Canadian Dollars? If you're in Canada, NCIX has better pricing on the i5-2500k ($199) and you can attempt to pricematch anything on that list that they don't have better pricing on.

Corsair brand and 650W would be plenty. Could probably drop down to 500W.
