Ok so I am a bit confused when it comes to how many USBs a motherboard has. What is the difference between rear panel USBs and on board USBS? My case has 2 USB ports in front and I am wondering what plugs into them.

A USB connection is a USB connection. I don't understand your question.

Are you asking where they plug in?

Well when looking at a motherboard I can see the back panel USB, but where on the board is the USB that plug into the front of your case?

Generally, they are at the bottom of motherboard, which is opposite the CPU. What motherboard do you have?

Here you go. Each "block" does 2 USB, so 4 USB total.

Thank you so much! Also would this be a good motherboard for two GTX 580s 3gb in SLI?

No problem.

I can't really answer your last question as I haven't been keeping up with hardware. I'm still running an outdated system, as indicated by my signature below. :(
