Front and back USB

Ok so I am a bit confused when it comes to how many USBs a motherboard has. What is the difference between rear panel USBs and on board USBS? My case has 2 USB ports in front and I am wondering what plugs into them.

A USB connection is a USB connection. I don't understand your question.

Are you asking where they plug in?

Well when looking at a motherboard I can see the back panel USB, but where on the board is the USB that plug into the front of your case?

Generally, they are at the bottom of motherboard, which is opposite the CPU. What motherboard do you have?

I do not have it yet, I was looking at the specs and it says it has 2 rear panel USB 3.0 and 2x on board USB 3.0, does this mean it has 4 of them? Because as I said I can only see the two http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131701

Here you go. Each "block" does 2 USB, so 4 USB total.
